Caring & Sharing Food Pantry provides food to residents of Paulding County, Ohio, who are experiencing food insecurity. Also, we usually have personal care items and home cleaning products in stock.

Wednesdays and Saturdays

Residents of Paulding County who have family income is at or below 200% of federal poverty level qualify to receive food from the pantry. See poverty guidelines on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website.

  1. Come to the pantry during normal operating hours. On your first visit, you will be registered, so please bring the following documents:
    • Identification for everyone in your household such valid driver’s license, birth certificate, state issued ID or other formal documentation including name and birth date. For children, grade cards or library cards would qualify as ID.
    • Two forms of address verification such as a bill, rental agreement or piece of mail with your name and address typed on it. (Driver’s license may count as one if it lists your correct address.)
  2. Once registered, you will be asked to self-verify your income.
  3. Then, you can visit the pantry up to two times per month. We are a choice pantry, so you will be able to select the items you want from our shopping list based on your family size and what we have in stock. You will receive at least three days of food during each visit.

Q: May others pick up food for me?
A: Yes. You and your representative must complete an Proxy Letter to do so.

Q: Are there other pantries in Paulding County?
A: Yes. But they may operate differently than we do.

Q: What kind of food can I get from Caring & Sharing Food Pantry?
A: We are a choice pantry, so you will be able to select the items you want from our shopping list based on your family size and what we have in stock. You will receive at least three days of food during each visit.

We stock shelf-stable food such as canned vegetables and fruit, pasta, breakfast food, soup, small canned meat, tomato and potato products and beans. You will receive a frozen meat bundle and eggs. We try to also offer dairy, baking goods, condiments, drinks, snacks, bread and sometimes bakery items. Additional items may be available such produce and assorted frozen food.

Q: How long is the wait?
A: We serve families on a first-come first-served basis. The wait time varies depending on the number of families who arrive ahead of you.
